Staff Accountant / HR Coordinator
Originally from San Antonio, Texas, Angela is a new resident of Pittsburgh with a professional background in both music and accounting. Angela began studying the violin at a very young age and continued through college, earning scholarships to prestigious summer music festivals and a full ride to Baylor University. Angela has performed in student and professional orchestras in the United States and has toured New York city, Finland, Estonia, Russia, and Belgium.
After finishing her Bachelor of Music degree in performance at Baylor, she decided to pursue a new interest and earned her second bachelor's degree, a B.S. in Accounting, from the University of Texas at Arlington. She began her accounting career in the manufacturing industry while in school, then worked in oil & gas before joining us at The Savvy Group.
Angela effectively applies her unique background at work by using her creativity and collaborative abilities to solve problems in accounting and business. When she's not studying for the CPA exam, Angela enjoys playing violin, binge-watching The Office, and exploring Pittsburgh in her free time.
